December 2022
On Saturday, December 17th, we blessed the Kingdom Kindness and Help Ministry with 50 prayer shawls and lap blankets. We touched and comforted so many people today.
We are Blessed to be a Blessing. When we Bless others, we are Blessed again. We count that as a double Blessing from the Lord.
Thank you, God's Hugs members! We could not have done it without you.
A special thank you to Kingdom Kindness and Help Ministry and Nicholas for another Blessed year.

We offer a special thanks to Mrs. Fannie Hamilton from Washington DC. And a special thank you to her mother, Mrs. Hilda Kearny, who is 90 years old and blind.

Our 2nd trip to Austin, Texas as guests at Wesley United Methodist Church, for WUMC Warrior Women Prayer Shawl Sunday. We went on Friday, September 15 - to Monday, September 18, 2017.
We had such a great time, the food and fellowship was fantastic! We were so Blessed! Thank you so much for the warm hospitality and allowing us to celebrate your Prayer Shawl Sunday with you. We are so full that God brought us together.
In August 2017, I presented this praying hands prayer shawl to Dr. Aisha Baron for caring for breast cancer patients. She is one of the top African American Plastic Surgeons in Atlanta. She performs breast reconstruction because she is a survivor.
Dr. Baron was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Like many of her breast reconstruction patients, she knows what it's like to have the power and control over your life taken from you.
Dr. Baron is an ASPS member and board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon practicing at Breast Body Beauty Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in the metro Atlanta area.
Dr. Baron was also on the nationwide hit reality television show "Atlanta Plastic" on Lifetime to share her talents as a plastic surgeon with the country.

Here is the thank you note from The Reverend Melvin L. Tate:
I received the prayer shawl and it is my favorite color blue. Thank you very much. Never thought I'd be a recipient in need of such care as a cancer patient but He meant it for my good. All things do work together for good. I never would have made it without the love of God and the loving kindness and tender mercies of the angels ministering to me via this prayer shawl.
I love y'all. It's healing and helpful in times like these. May God bless your hands and hearts exceedingly and abundantly with His favor and grace. It is well with my soul.
