We come together to knit or crochet prayer shawls while praying for the recipients. Each shawl is a source of blessing and comfort. The tag attached to each shawl reads: "This shawl was handmade for you by our prayer shawl ministry, God's Hugs. As it was created, we prayed for you. We asked God to bless you and give you courage, joy and peace. May this shawl always remind you of God's love and the comfort of God's hugs now and forever." These prayer shawls are not for sale. They are given away freely as an expression of God's love and amazing grace. |

We intend to maintain an in depth prayer life both individually and collectively.
We will engage in activities that will help us to grow both as a team of prayer knitters/crocheters and as servant of God, by the help, guidance, and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. |
We will come together regularly in prayer and in skill enhancement, in order to best serve the population of prayer shawl, cloth and blanket recipients in our Church and our community as well as abroad.
