Dear Friends,
I was so very uplifted yesterday by your delightful visit. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generous gift of prayer shawls and lap robes, not only for our patients, but for me as well. You will be happy to know that I felt God's hug through each of you and again as I sat at my desk with the shawl around me in my very chilly office. I began sharing the shawls and want you to know how well received they are. There is such tremendous value in giving such beautiful, hand-crafted articles with blessings and prayers knitted and crocheted into them.
As is true for me, the receiver experiences amazement and joy in receiving something so meaningful and beautiful, made from someone who cares and yet who is unknown, a special gift from a fellow-traveler on this journey of life, during a time that is challenging and often painful. I pray that each of you who are part of God's Hugs Prayer Shawl Ministry be blessed by our loving God in whatever way is most needed at this time in your life.
Blessings and Peace,
Alice

Another letter from Queens Hospital center (Cancer Center)
Dear Rosette and all my friends at Gods Hugs Prayer Shawl Ministry,
I am writing to share a beautiful story from this past week which has occurred through your beautiful ministry.
On Tuesday, I sat with a patient who was just not her usual self. She seemed out of sorts, incredibly down, and shared with me her inability to sleep well for a number of days. I asked if she had been wearing her prayer shawl, and she said she hadn't because it was so beautiful that she was saving it for a special occasion. I encouraged her to go home and put it on so that she may feel the love and care crocheted with every stitch and God's blessings enfolding her. Well, on Thursday when she returned, she had her big smile greeting me and I could tell she was back to her usual self, peaceful, joyful and accepting. She told me she went home on Tuesday, enfolded herself with the shawl and slept as she hadn't in many days.
God is truly awesome!!!! May each of you continue to be God's instrument of love, peace and joy. Thank you from my heart.
Blessings and peace,
Alice

As I was knitting on the train Thursday evening this woman sat next to me and we talked… All I can say is Praise God! HALLUJAH! God is good all the time and all the time God is good! I mailed the Prayer Shawl Friday morning! Check out her message below…
Dear Rosette:
Meeting you today was so circumstantial...like God's hand taking us along, opening a new door for me.
My dearest friend, Betty Evans is very ill with cancer and is not willing to undergo further treatment. She is worn out, given out, and given up. Her treatment ordeal was rigorous, needless to say.
Your offer to send her a shawl knitted by the Prayer Shawl Ministry is but another gesture of His love and devotion to us. My prayers will be with Betty and with you for your everlasting peace.
I know that your prayers will touch Betty as they have touched me.
Thank you.
Affectionately,
D.S
We thank you so-very much! Along with prayers we wanted to do something to bring our Aunt some measure of comfort and you fulfilled our wishes. We appreciate your thought fullness; you have blessed us
With service gratitude,
The family of SG. God Bless
Hi Rosette,
The shawl is just beautiful and my mother loves it! Her comment was: Rosette, is so talented she needs her own shop (smile!) I informed her that your shop is in the comforts of your home. Her reply was: "Oh, that's so nice". ha, ha,
The colors are beautiful. Thanks for the time and extra effort to make my mother one also. It is the little things in life that makes an older person very happy. Especially, someone like my mother who has given so many individuals all of her life. It is nice to see the smile on her face. I love you for that! I haven't forgotten you and she will never forget you. Let me know when you receive my appreciation donation. (smile!) Give my cuz, a hug and a great big hello!
Love and Blessings, K.R.
Thank you so much for the prayer shawl. It means so much to know that we are in someone’s prayers. I thank you for your kindness and thoughtfulness. May God bless you and everyone who prayed for me and my family.

Thanks for sharing this with me. He moves in mysterious ways his wonders never cease. God put you there at the right time and place. This was done for you to reach out and touch someone in need because of a need and through that conversation she was able to open a new door for her and maybe ease the potential lose of a close friend. Through your ministry, you are helping many.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

Rosette,
My favorite color is orange. Imagine my surprise when we got the package opened.
I have had many compliments on my shawl. Especially the little heart charm. This shawl has a special
place in my heart. Thank you again and again. This just boosted my healing power.
Prayers and thoughts for you.

First welcome back Carol, thinking of you and praying for you everyday. Isn’t Rosette wonderful, we all need to follow in her footsteps. I was blessed to have received one of her prayer shawls. I took it with me to my biopsy and all through my treatments. My husband said that shawl sure is bright, I said that's so you don't lose me LOL. So happy to hear from you.
